Description
Tajikistan is a Central Asian country bordering Afghanistan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. It`s known for its rugged mountains, which are popular for hiking and climbing. The Fann Mountains, near the national capital of Dushanbe, encompass snow-capped peaks that rise above 5,000 meters. Within the range is Iskanderkulsky Nature Refuge, a noted bird habitat whose namesake, Iskanderkul, is a turquoise lake formed by glaciers.
